Hugo Lions Ice Fishing Contest

Bring the kids out to Veterans Campground on Big Marine Lake, February 14th for this fun event. $20 per entry, $15 for early registration. Youth 15 and under fish for free. Registration opens at 9am at the Vets Camp boat launch. To donate prizes, or sponsor, please send us an email to arrange pick up. Thank you for your support!
Rules
Portable ice houses, heaters, chairs, bait pails, depth finders are allowed.
All fish entered into the contest must be caught from a hole located in the contest area during contest hours.
All fish entered into the contest must be brought to the weigh-in station immediately and must be alive.
Catch & release. Please bring fish to weigh-in station in a bag or bucket.
Each participant is allowed 2 holes for their $20 entry fee.
Only participants are allowed to fish within the contest area. Contest tag must be visible at all times.
Absolutely no lines are allowed in the water from 9:30 a.m. to start of the contest. Depth checks must be done prior.
